iProtech Pro Terms & Warranty Policy

Effective Date: March 25, 2025

By using iProtech Pro services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:


1. Repair Risks

Electronic repairs come with inherent risks. Some devices may be beyond repair or may sustain permanent damage during the repair process.

  • Liquid-damaged devices may experience short circuits, corrosion, or failures at any time.

  • Glued-on screens (e.g., tablets) require prying to access internal components. Screens may crack during removal.

  • Touch ID/Face ID functionality on Apple devices may be affected during repairs.

  • Integrated GPUs on older laptops and all-in-one computers may fail during or after repair.


2. Estimates

All repair estimates are subject to change upon further inspection. If additional parts or repairs are required beyond the initial estimate, we will seek your approval before proceeding.


3. 90-Day Limited Warranty

  • We offer a 90-day warranty on all fixed/repaired parts and mobile devices.

  • This warranty covers manufacturer defects and improper installation only.

  • Original receipt is required to make any warranty claim.

Warranty is void if:

  • The replacement screen has scratches or cracks

  • The device has water damage

  • The device has physical damage

  • The device has been opened by someone other than our technicians

  • It has been more than 90 days since the repair date


4. Warranty Exclusions

The following are not covered under warranty:

  • Water or liquid damage

  • Physical damage (drops, cracks, dents, pressure, etc.)

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

  • Software-related issues (e.g., OS, viruses, data corruption)

  • Devices without valid receipts

  • Devices outside of the 90-day warranty period


5. Refund & Exchange Policy

  • No refunds or exchanges on installed parts.

  • 7-day exchange policy on accessories — no refunds.

  • 7-day return or exchange policy on purchased mobile devices — no refunds.

  • A $50 restocking fee applies to all approved returns of mobile devices.

Exchange or return item must:

  • Not show signs of wear or damage

  • Be returned with original packaging

  • Be accompanied by the original receipt

  • Be approved at the discretion of an iProtech Pro employee


6. Repair Timeframes

  • Most standard repairs are completed within 15–45 minutes

  • Complex repairs may take 1–48 hours

  • Repair times are estimates only and may vary based on part availability and repair complexity


7. Replacement Parts Procedure

  • You will be notified if your repair requires additional parts

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required for ordering parts if you wish to retain your device

  • We do not install customer-supplied parts due to compatibility and quality concerns


8. Data Responsibility

We are not responsible for any data loss during or after repair.
Customers are strongly advised to back up their data before bringing in their device.


9. Data Recovery Services

  • Data recovery pricing ranges from $300 to $1,695, depending on complexity

  • Recovered data will be transferred to a new drive provided by us and added to the final invoice

  • Original drives will not be returned, as they are dismantled in the process

  • No guarantee of successful recovery is offered


10. Device Storage & Pickup

Devices must be picked up within 60 days of repair completion.
Unclaimed devices may be recycled or sold to recover repair costs.


11. Physical Damage Disclaimer

Warranty does not cover damage occurring after repair, including:

  • Cracked or broken screens from drops or pressure

  • Damaged phone housing or frame

  • Broken ports or motherboard damage

  • Bent or warped internal components

  • Damage caused by pressure (e.g., tight pockets or contact with hard objects like coins or keys)


12. Liability Disclaimer

By using iProtech Pro services, you accept all risks associated with electronic repair.
We are not liable for additional damage or data loss that occurs during or after the repair process.
We strongly recommend backing up your data before service.


13. Trademark Disclaimer

Apple, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and MacBook are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
Samsung and Galaxy are trademarks of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.
iProtech Pro is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc. or Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.
All trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners.


14. Business Disclaimer

The iProtech Pro location at 3301 E Main St #1540, Ventura, CA 93003 is the only location owned and operated by iProtech Pro.

All other locations listed on the iProtech website operate independently under separate ownership, LLCs, or corporations, even if they use the “iProtech” brand.

iProtech Pro is not responsible for services, warranties, or claims from other iProtech-branded locations.


15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iProtech Pro will not be liable for any:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Data loss

  • Device malfunction after service

Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service performed.


16. Arbitration Agreement

Any dispute or claim related to services provided by iProtech Pro will be resolved through binding arbitration in Ventura County, California.

Each party is responsible for its own legal fees.
This does not prevent claims filed in small claims court, if applicable.


17. Severability Clause

If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain fully in effect.


18. Right to Modify

iProtech Pro reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time.
Updates will be posted on our website and apply to all future services.
